By analyzing the amount of light blocked by the planet at different wavelengths, called spectroscopy, researchers can determine which molecules make up the atmosphere. The more light a planet blocks, the larger the planet appears. As starlight passes through a planet's atmosphere, atoms and molecules absorb light at certain wavelengths, blocking it from the telescope's view. Space telescopes like NASA’s Hubble (and formerly Spitzer) glean information about planet atmospheresby analyzing starlight. It can be hard to tell a lot about distant planets’ compositions. We don’t know much about its composition, what it’s made of, or what elements are present in its atmosphere, but it’s in a similar orbit to its star as Uranus is to our Sun. Researchers discovered an ice giant exoplanet 25,000 light-years away in 2014. Since these three chemicals are typically found frozen as ices in the cold outer solar system, Uranus and Neptune are often referred to as "ice giants" (though their interiors are warm enough that the "ices" inside them are not frozen). While Uranus and Neptune are mostly composed of hydrogen and helium, both also contain water, ammonia, and methane. My other favorite colour is blue but uranus and neptune are kinda just their in the solar system.GJ 436 b is considered to be a “Warm Neptune,” because of its size and because it is much closer to its star than Neptune is to our sun. Venus (amazing to imagine how many ways a human can die instantly on this planet due to the multitude of ways they can die.) Mars (my favorite colour is red and i like mars bars) Saturn (it gas so many rings, its a chad!) Mercury (dont like the colour and its kinda really basic and boring aside from the temperature) Jupiter (its big and has a tornado, thats it) Uranus(kinda the same as neptune but i like the shade pf blue slightly more) The tier lust of planets worst to best is: Point 5 Uranus is the newer model of Neptune because Neptune sucked so they made a new one Played the violin? That was the most unique thing about her, Mercury did all the things already and was just better. Saturn was basically the outwr senshi Jesus. Venus was the beautiful one and coincidentially the best one. Mercury was the smart one and was good with tecnology. In sailor moon i think sailor neptune is the second worst sailor scout (except for the annoying little s*** called sailor chibi moon). Now saturn Uranus and Neptune (i know i said it was an ice planet but you will die in under a second because of the wind) all fail for a cool way to die as they are all gas giants, i know jupiter is too but the red eye counts as something. ![]() Mars has more subtle ways such as the radiation on the surface. Venus shines at this catagory as it has so many way such as acid rain or the pressure. Mercury has two polar opposite temperatures of both extreme so pretty cool. It doesnt make sense as neptune is the god of the sea but neptune is an ice planet. Saturn has a game console named after it and it gets a pass. Jupiter is named after the chad God so it gets a pass. Venus (best planet) has a beauty product range named after it kinda like the godess Venus who was the godess of beauty. Mercury is also a name of a deadly metal which is pretty neat. Now first lets talk about the planets and their names. (Not mentioning earth since its in A tier since we live on it) Now firstly to give credit to Neptune it has a pretty blue and its planet symbol makes sense but thats it but thats where the positives end.
